New Version (2.0.3) – Sliders Begone

Well, there’s more to the update than that but I like how it sounds in the title. Anyway…

Version 2.0.3 (for Android and iOS)

  • (iOS only) Fixed bug when exporting MP4 for some devices.
  • Removed sliders, replaced with +/- buttons for now.
  • Added messages instructing how to use new menu system.
  • Put back red outline when creating a stickfigure.

And yes, this update has been uploaded for both iOS users and Android users simultaneously. Crazy right!?

Stick NodesSo yeah, the majority of the sliders are gone – for now. I’ve replaced them with the +/- buttons. I have an idea how to make the sliders better, and once I do I’ll give an option for users to choose between sliders or +/- buttons.

I’ve also attempted to make it clearer how the new responsive menu works. For the first 5 times the app is opened, tooltips are displayed instructing users as to where “Frame Tools” (and sounds) are.

And the accidentally-removed red outlines when creating stickfigures has made its return!

In the meantime, I’m working on something Neat™ for the website, how to have it live this week and if it works out I can see it being of great use for a lot of you guys. But more on that in another post.

  1. Hey, thanks Ralph. Maybe you can make Sliders use the same system as the +/- buttons, like 0.5 and 0.1 would be easier.

  2. Hey umm it’s me again!
I quickly checked the update (+/– are bae) and I have an idea: What if you hold the button and it shrinks or grows fast? I know Stick Nodes itself doesn’t support holding buttons now, but I think that would combine both the effectivity of the sliders and precision of the +/– buttons!

  3. …Hey Ralph, what kind of BS are you trying to pull on me here? I have recently lost internet to my house (sending this with data on my phone) and all I want to do is make some animations. Initially I didn’t think this was too much to ask for, but apparently it is. I can’t launch the app that I HAVE BOUGHT AND DOWNLOADED because I have to have an internet connection in order to launch the app. This is ridiculous. Pretty much everything now has to have an internet connection in order to work, and honestly I hate to see you jump on the same stupid bandwagon. And I can’t update the app because I don’t have an internet connection. So I’m locked out of the app I have bought an downloaded. Thanks Ralph. Thanks.
