The Karabiner 98 Kurz or Kar98k for short, is a bolt-action rifle, it is chambered for the Mauser 7.92x57mm Cartridge and can be loaded by a stripper clip.

It was adopted by the German Army on June 21, 1935 as the standard issue rifle until 1945, when Nazi Germany collapsed, after the Second World War the Soviets captured millions of Kar98ks, and distributed as military aid.

The Kar98k can still be seen today in conflicts.
