Designed by General John Taliaferro Thompson around 1917 until 1920, this legendary submachine gun was used for the police and the Italian Mafia (Cosa Nostra) during Prohibition, as a signature weapon.

At least 1.75 million guns were sold in all variants. It has a fast fire rate, around 700-800 RPM in this variant. Fastest of them is the concept called the Annihilator. Originally, General Thompson envisioned an auto rifle to replace bolt action service rifles. He also started the Auto-Ordnance Company for producing the weapon. Production stopped in 1945, and now sought as a collector's gun. It's around $200 in 1934, half price of a new Model T, but now costs around $15,000 till $30,000 in auctions. This weapon is also called the Tommy Gun or The Chicago Typewriter.

One of the most famous owner of this weapon is bank robber John Dillinger, and gangster couple Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow (which costs about $210,000 and with an additional shotgun). It's very heavy, about 4.9kg without a magazine (It's about 5.1kg with a 50 bullets drum mag, probably).

Anyway, this weapon was issued for FBI in 1933 following the Kansas City Massacre, and the U.S. Army in 1938 for WW2 and so on.

About the figure itself, the weapon has 2 main parts, the body (which includes the left and right side) and the drum magazine. I'm too lazy to add additional parts and details though. I intend to keep this for myself as my private asset as well as a few classic weapons, such as Colt 1911 and the M1897 Trench Shotgun, but I'm giving all of them as my 20 subs special (I have 33 subs actually, plus with my old account and 2 of them are from me.)
