Giganotosaurus was a large megatheropod that lived in argentina around 30 million years before t. rex appeared in north america, though overshadowed by the rex, it has still made appearances in media.

Most famously the newly released Jurassic World Dominion. it was without a doubt one of the biggest carnivores the world has ever seen.
