A jet created in the 70s as a ground attack aircraft or CAS (Close Air support). It is one of the planes with the largest range of weapons in the world, and was built around the 30mm Gau-8 Avenger cannon. It can carry free-fall bombs, delayed bombs, Air-to-Air missiles and anti-tank missiles.
It was built by Fairchild aircraft from 1972 to 1984, its main competitor was the YA-09 Cobra.
