The ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms And Explosives, should be called BATFE) are a US government organization tasked with the detainment and confiscation of illegal firearms, explosives, or drugs.
Basically, they are the people you would see alongside the police when the cartel or some other illegal group bears firearms.
They have faced controversy based on numerous factors, mainly because the sieges conducted involve more casualties than needed.
No, I didn't include the ATF used in the Waco Siege because the pictures were too low quality.
