As of 3.2.0, Stick Nodes will no longer automatically find downloaded files in your /downloads/ folder. You must open the file with Stick Nodes explicitly for it to be moved into the correct folder.

Tasarımına Amerikan silah tasarımcısı John Browning tarafından başlanmıştır, ölümünün ardından 1935 yılında Belçika’da bulunan FN (Fabrique Nationale) mühendislerindern Dieudonne Saive son haline getirmiştir. Üretimi günümüzde de sürmektedir.

Piyasaya sürüldüğü döneminin tüm servis/hizmet tabancalarından daha fazla fişek kapasitesine sahip olduğundan Hi-Power (yüksek güç) olarak tanınmıştır. MK I, MK II ve güncel üretimi MK III olarak üç temel üretim aşamasından geçmiştir.

Dünya üzerinde yakın dönerne kadar en çok kullanılan ve en çok kopyalanan hizmet tipi tabancalardandır.
