After the end of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons that went on for millennia, the two factions eventually lay down their arms and agree to a binding peace in Pax Cybertronia with their descendants named the Maximals and Predacons, with potential future conflict stirring by the Tripredacus Council. A rouge predacon named Megatron after the Leader of the Decepticons and his small band of Predacons with one goal, restoring glory and power to the Predacons one day discovered the Golden Disc by the original Megatron leaving a message to any future Decepticons and so follows it's instructions pointing where, with time travelling technology could attempt to alter the Great War in the Decepticons' favour however a group of Maximals led by Optimus Primal named after the legendary Leader of the Autobots interfer their plans leaving them stranded in prehistoric Earth and conflict continues as the two opposing factions renew their struggle for the condition of the universe once again as their ancestors did before dubbed the "Beast Wars"
