Monolophosaurus is an extinct genus tetanuran therapod dinosaur from the middle jurassic Shishugou Formation in what is now Xianjiang, China.

Monolophosaurus mean "Single crested lizard" it was name that way because single crested on tops of its skull.

Monolophosaurus was a mid sized therapod at about 5 metres long and weighed 475 kilograms.
