He now has no arms, but has two floating pickaxes. They can extend and fly. They are his defenses,offense, and primary transportation. They are extremely durable and can go pretty fast.

……thatās a complete lie. Thatās like me eating bacon just cause I want to.
The last question is good though. He was born without any arms and grew up like that, then at the age of 18 he joined the military because he thought it was a good idea. He was told that he could participate in an experimental new program in the military. He was given a lil green vest and it came with two pickaxe lookin things. He was told how to use them, made them fun for himself, and was then shipped off to Uzbekistan. He, along with the other soldiers, completely decimated Uzbekistan in a matter of 2 years. He then realized that the military wasnāt for him and abbanded his troop a year and a half after the victory. He now kinda just flys around wanting to fight people.

Lore isnāt really my main priority, mabey if I do a series involving him then yeah lore ftw, but until then ima just focus on el fighting
I think “He does what he wants” Can be an interesting motive.
The story could revolve around the point that he has no goal, he just wanders.
Nothing to prove, nothing to lose.
Maybe the story could be about how empty a life like this can be
Or what if he found sometime to care about, and the point would be all about the lengths he’d go to keep it!
Or maybe I’m just fantasizing.

i originally planned for Jake the Wanderer to have no true motive however i’ve learnt how boring that is. his new motive is now to help those in need, regardless of whatever faces him, whether it easy or insurmountable odds. bound by a very vaguely described prophesy. (yes, i know prophesies are vague but in TOB they’re not exact, they’re VERY moldable and are kept very secret.
