@ralph I don’t know if you can help because this is weird.

I use Gamebanana to get my gun sounds and the files are usually .rar. When I download the .rar, I export them into .wavs and move them into my Sounds file. Weird part is that it doesn’t detect the actual gunshot sounds. The files are in the Sounds and are mp3s since I changed them, but they don’t appear in the app. It’s only those sounds, too. The length isn’t an issue so I thought if I used a sound editor I could make it shorter and then move it.

I did that, and it still doesn’t appear. It’s only the gunshot sounds and I don’t get why. Magazine sounds get in, slide sounds get in, hammer sounds get in, but the shot? Pfff, nah. No thanks.

    Is there a reason why?

this sounds like you unzip the ZIP, grab the WAVs inside…and…change the extension to MP3?

if so nah son, that’s not how extensions work, you need to convert the file
(if that’s what you’re doing, that is)

chief i dont understand any of this im just gonna do a tldr of what im gonna say

they’re normally .wavs and i make them .mp3s then put them in the sounds file.

it worked for every other sound except the shots.

how are you “making” them MP3s

and if you truly are correctly converting them to Mp3s and placing them in the sounds folder, the only reason they won’t appear is the file size is >256kb

yes, that’s not how you change a file type

that’s like taking a .jpg file and changing it to .mp3 – it just doesn’t work that way lmao

              use an online service (https://online-audio-converter.com/)

that’s just the first one that came up, idk what will work on a mobile device

              google “wav to mp3”
