@Ralph i don’t think this is normal, i just downloaded a guy chainsaw pack, imported it to sticknodes (FREE version)
And this magically happened–
(i saved the project in case you want to see it)

Imagine being so sad you like your own update

WHY DO I SMELL SELF LIKE HERE?
OH DEAR GOD-
probably has to do with the way it was made, length/angle snaps to whole numbers, so…given the right circumstances you can get weird visual glitches like that
i bet there’s probably scaling involved
anyway it’s, kinda just how it be for now
good gif tho
Believe it or not, i didn’t scale or do anything,i just made it the way it is-
Edit : wait, what do you mean “for now”?
not by you, it may be scaled down just made that way, even individual segment scaling
because that allows length to be a much larger number, and the larger the numbers get the more apparent the snapping/rounding is
I see.
And if I’m correct it will be patched in the upcoming updates, yes?
well it might, i’ll look at it, it’s been like this since the beginning so idk if changing the data type is going to cause any headaches to make it not worth it lol
Yeah sorry lol, I used a really really long segment so it could only move on a single axis, but the movement optimization kinda only allows it to be at certain angles, smooth movements kinda mess it up.
Normally, this wouldn’t be noticeable, but when a node is super duper scaled up like mine, it gets a bit buggy.
I see.
Tho you can’t deny the figure is well made, especially the idea of a moving chainsaw, however, do you think the same technique could apply to tanks wheels? Afterall we don’t have much moving tanks wheels.
I suppose, but it might be a bit more difficult.
