while I see the point of your comment, did you know that we probably wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for a soviet submarine choosing not to launch nuclear missiles at americans?

the sole deciding vote for that outcome was one guy out of 3, one single dude changed the course of history and saved mankind

humans are in charge of their own fate, and our fate is probably several decades, maybe centuries away from being sealed

and there have been many different revolutions going on all over the world because some humans finally started to think that the world and their suffering can be changed and we’re not powerless to change it (source: black lives matter and the hong kong protests)

i dislike this complacent attitude that a large amount of people seem to have acquired because there’s almost 8 billion people that could be doing small things to help out the world (that do add up) instead of saying that we’re screwed
