Watch some films, play some games, find what inspires you and go from there. If you make Scarf Figs, if you take the lazy and generic route, you’ll blend with the croud and become just another user, you’ll be forgotten.

I’ll make a story.
The scarf, will also be badass, it will have powers, and it will be alive, it’s also evil, but really cocky.
It’s like a cobra, attached to a romance seeking boys neck.
Pulls any enemy near, and chomes them out.
It acts as a unremovable poison, to the boy.
As each day goes by, a thread dissapears, if all the threads disappear, the boy dies, unless, he’s able to find a girlfriend, before the scarf kills him.
how about the Scarf is actually a cobra?

Or you could think creatively and do this.
Make him buy a ring that he was gonna give to some girl/guy he liked but they rejected him so he goes somewhere alone and sobs his socks off. Due to how powerful his emotions were, the Ring becomes possesed with a spirit of love. This spirit supposedly resided in the area but his wailing had dragged the spirit into the ring (said spirit is now a tad grumpy). So the two of them have to work together to get the dude a girl, though the spirit is a little picky as to prolong the plot.
You could go one step further and slap a Spirit of lust in there too to make the plot more intense.
Go one final step and make the characters diverse and intresting, heck, set it in space so you could have alien everywhere as well. Do all you can to make it unique as f**k.

I just got sick of only boring scarfs that serve no pupouse, and decided to make a scarf that’s sentient.
And is stretchy, and suffocates people.

Make a ring with a spirit that looks like a snake or can posses his scarf (don’t make it a stupid one that’s super long. Make it normal length but can unwrap itself to strangle, TO ATTAC
