Sucks to be in both your situations, in grief people don’t tend to be the most reasonable
Where were the voice recordings saved? There might be a way to get them back depending on that
just the default phone voicemail, prolly gonna be tricky to get back
She might be able to get it back if her phone was backed up before it got deleted, on iPhone it has iCloud but I don’t know what android used
It might not save to iCloud however, I’m not too sure
no money… no iphone….
If its android you can also restoure files with Samsung Cloud or wtv
If she has an IPhone and isn’t on one of the more recent versions it may be possible

Additionally with some things like photos even if they’re fully deleted sometimes they stick around and are just hidden for a bit. You’d have to do more digging but it could be possible to save them.

Then depending on your android phone you’ll have to research if it has the feature above.
If not look into data recovery. As I mentioned some phones store deleted stuff a little longer after. So you may have limited time to get it back, assuming it even does that. Best of luck.
