There’s like 5 forges dotted around earth, built by a species I haven’t got around to naming, they are built with fercenkium, an allow that can absorb INSANE amounts of heat and eject it into arcainium due to it drawing heat out of the forge, therefore melting it. But the forges can only be used so many times at once before it need to be left to disperse the heat that remains. You can only use the forges at the time of you risk the arcienum just vaporizing you and the entire planet you’re on. We for cooling, arcainium has to be left for at least 3 months before you can start casting it. Normally you’d leave it in the collection area of the forge while it cools and it will still be liquid due to it retaining huge amounts of heat.

It is rarely found on earth VERY close to the mantle and on planets of extreme size and temperature.
It requires a huge amount of heat to melt and takes a lot of energy, so most of them time another metal called kercium is used instead as a replacement due to the fact is has a much lower melting point and is much more common.
Normally it would need to be left in a arcienum forge due to it producing an immense amount of heat when near arcainium, arcienum is rarely used for most things due to it forming on a planet scorched by that of something like a blue star. -

Reasoning for being op? Okay, he was assigned as a subject to something known as the wrath project due to his family genetics allowing them to grow taller and stronger than your average human, he had to be taken their at age 5 due to him having a flesh eating disease slowly destroying his body, he had to have an eye, a leg, an arm, his organs, and his skeleton replaced with mechanical variants to save his life, he was put under intense experimentation to increase his strength, durability ect. His immense strength mainly comes from his mechanical arm and his armour as does his durability, while being quite the threat at close range, he’s slow and inexperienced in combat so he just has to rely on his other attributes to make up for that. I can agree the character you mentioned would be able to quite easily outwit and outrun flare, he would have to be constantly dodging, and would probably need to keep his distance to not get scorched by plasma.
