For skywings, you’ll want a long, almost horse shape snout with a bird of prey’s hoooked beak at the end. You’d want to give them thin, lightweight builds with large wings for hours in the air. Since they’re known for fighting skills, they would have thick, muscular arms and legs. Some people give them feathers, but it’s really up to you.

So, for Icewings, you’ll want a narrower, sharper snout, like a caiman’s but thicker. They have somewhat bulky necks, but usually posed elegantly, for all those spikes. Like frills, the spikes will react to emotion, rising when angered or startled, and flattened when idle or sad. Icewing claws are curved, like sickles, so I’d give them larger talons to match. Their bodies could range from toothpick thin to mudwing chonk, given where they live, and depending on what they eat. Royal icewings will be thinner, due to scarcer prey in the higher circles, as well as regulated temperatures. Lower circle icewings should be chubbier to withstand the cold waters of the shores and lakes, as well as more hunting opportunities. I would also suggest you draw their tails similar to an Ankylosaurus
