Having your stickfigure featured has undergone many changes over the years.

It used to be as simple as "most downloads in 24 hours" and, many iterations later, has evolved into a more robust algorithm that takes into account downloads along with ratings, UC votes, and time elapsed.

It is still an automated process, with less human involvement than Users' Choice voting.
