The 1974–1978 Dodge Monaco police cruiser, famously immortalized in The Blues Brothers, was a full-size "B-body" (1977-78) or "C-body" (1974-76) sedan renowned for its immense power and heavy-duty, high-speed patrol capabilities. It featured a massive 440-cubic-inch V8 "cop motor," strengthened suspensions, and was a staple for the California Highway Patrol.
