The Baker rifle, also known as the Pattern 1800 Infantry Rifle, was a flintlock rifle designed by English gunsmith, Ezekiel Baker, and used by the British Army from 1801 to 1837.

It was the first British-made firearm issued as a service rifle to all soldiers in the British Army's rifle units and saw action in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, the War of 1812, the Brazilian War of Independence, and the Texas Revolution. Overall this rifle wasnt just a gun but a major step into better firearms for the British Army.
