Once this was the hallway to a rich mans room.

One day while he was sleeping a sorcerer broke into his room. He woke up to the sorcerer going through his things and he tried to stop the intruder. He was killed with a demon binding spell. The man was never seen again.

During the next few weeks the room was consumed by darkness. After a few years the same demons that killed the man entered the room through a gateway inside. And to this day, anyone who steps within 5ft of the door disappears without a trace.

And some say that if you get close enough you can still hear the screams of the people trapped inside.
