The M4A1 is the carbine version of the m16a2 and is the current service carbine of the US army and is also being widely used by law enforcement and freedom fighters around the world.
It is is capable of full automatic shooting and semi automatic shooting. Compared to the Russian akm the m4a1 has a more complex engineering compared to the kalashnikov rifles.
