One of the projects that gave me the most encouragement to do it, and an evolution of the Remake of the Remake of the Remake of another project of mine, There are lots of cool little things and lots of customization, so have fun.
I have no idea how many of Us this project has, but I estimate between 1800 to 2000 and more with all the paraphernalia, hitting 2500 or higher.
General context.
The Panther is a German tank developed between 1936-1943, Initially conceived as a medium tank similar to the Panzer III and IV, but with first contacts with the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tank, Forcing the Germans to abandon the box-shaped tank concept and add angled armor plates. The Panther in its first variant (Ausfühung D) saw combat at the Battle of Kursk in 1943, facing Soviet tanks of the line such as the T-34 itself.
However, its transmission and engine, like the Tiger I, had their problems, being frequently damaged by excessive use and the weight of the tank itself and other factors such as poor quality. Too much tarnishing of the tank's reputation. These issues were partially but not fully resolved in later versions (late G)
There was a program to create a second variant, the Panther II, as an initiative to counter the anti-tank rifles due to the thin armor on the sides. The problem was solved by installing simple 13mm plates on the sides of the vehicles, and ultimately canceling the Panther II project.
