Vorombe titan is also known as an "Elephant Bird". It is a relatively recent example of extinction and is widely believed that it's main cause for it's extinction is because of man destrpying their habitat and hunting them to extinction.

moa are a family of their own birds i think your talking about the giant moa, which is multiple species itself
and i don’t think they’re too closely related
