Yeah most people would guess that an effective 1200-1400mm of steel in the front plate+ 900mm of steel in the crew compartment+ an active protection system would be pretty good at defeating an Abrams tank.

That problem the T-14 “Armata” was plagued with is not the armor, it was the ArmorMENTS the T-14 carried, the Autoloader of which, with a one well aimed round on the Autoloader, the tank will blow up, but with the introduction of the Javelin, an anti armor weapon used in droves in Ukraine, it works the same
