So are we supposed to kinda like Put the eyes on our OC freely or do we use join stick figure? Im new to this stuff

yeah you just put it freely.
However if you want to actually hook them up, you can make a hook point on the stickfigure itself or an additional stickfigure thats just invisible segment.
