Believe it or not, they did actually use scythes as weapons, but not the agricultural ones. As the farming scythes were a somewhat 90 degree angle, they were very uneffective and were only used in emergency as if you were being attacked and that would give you a better chance than most things but with the war scythe was a rough 180 degree and which gave a good sweeping action and would definetly overcome a regular farm scythe.

Yes, this might be a war scythe, but did you know farmers used basic scythes that were meant to farm/harvest crops in the wars?
Also, death use’s a scythe to “harvest” souls, so for you people out there that think scythes are just for crops, you would be wrong
Hol’ up, wouldn’t a farmers scythe with a 90 degree blade have a better swing? Since the part they harvest stuff is sharp, just sharpen that and boom- a pretty good slash that could do “some” damage!!11!1!1
