The Ritual Itself were many sacrifices to a Primordial Elder God that would grant up an entire city populous eternal youth and good luck, The Ritual succeeded but then shit went down and while It did, some random rat just casually strolled in and then BOOM! Super Rat Monster Thing, Also It’s slowly dying as It has barely eaten anything, It’s in constant pain and It’s actually more scared of us then we would be of him! Think of him as the Rat Equivalent of Shin Godzilla aka a Suicidal Force of Nature that is scared out of It’s mind.
