This is rant post. This might be outside your liking or might trigger you in some way I guess.

    My little input/rant/whatever
gonna stay as vaguely as I can to minimise the amount of drama

    Point1:
Very recently someone published an image of someone stating in discord that they tried to stick to a completely new identity as he/she used to tell bizarre fake stories and hoaxes with his/her old account. lets call this person John.
Myself I really don’t much on what’s going on and I’m glad to be no part of it. although now I guess I am
The thing that bothers me is the person that posted the image. All this literally does is publish drama to the site hidden behind a @ral*ph. If “john” would have wanted everyone to know about his new identity he would he posted and published it here on the site. Regardless of what he has done no one should publish stuff like this.

Point2: In cases where something needs be addressed to either Ralph or the Staff Team, it needs to be done privately. There should be a new tab for making a report about an user of issue. Only the person who posted and the staff team can see the posts. All other posts of other users should be hidden to all users.

Point3: There’s always been an image around saying “Days without drama: 0”. Which is not even remotely false. The reason drama keeps happening ,although sometimes the staff team shuts it down, is that people dont get punished for doing so. There are no consequences at all. Why follow abide a rule when you wont get punished for it?
the “basic” rules accordig to the site itself:

“Do not be rude. For example, if a user posts something they have created, do not comment “gay”, “bad”, etc. Criticism is one thing, being a dick is different.”

“Generally, do not harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort to another member.”

“Using “extreme” insults or phrases will result in an instant ban (“kys”, maliciously-used racial slurs, etc).”

These rules have been broken several times. Some users even do it very often. But yet no one even gets tapped on the shoulder being told they shouldn’t do it.

For this types of cases I believe a global mute button would solve the problem. An user who has been muted cannot comment or post anything anywhere on the site. Only thing they are permitted to do is “thumbs up” a post/figure and what not.

As this post is also theoretically publishment of drama and possibly a violation of the said rules, I’m completely fine of my suggested actions against the drama and rulebreakers being used on me. Matter of Fact I believe it’s a good start.
