Humor is inapplicable to this animation, so I won’t critique it.

This series episode starts off promising, but it progressively falls as the episode continues in length. The animation quality is decent enough, but the real main problem here is the pacing of the story for sure. Everything happens way too quickly without much explanation or buildup. Being a DBZ animation, it has pre-created characters, scenarios, and events, but this series expects all of its viewers to already know the details of said events, which is poor series development. Time should be taken at the least to describe the states of characters and explain how everyone got to where they are right now. Dialogue isn’t much unique, though Goku and Broly stood out for their interactions. Pacing is abysmal in this entire episode, and the fighting, talking, and overall sequence of events is very bad. The intro itself also takes way too much time to highlight characters, and it doesn’t provide anything really noticeable with the large timeslot it takes in the animation. Overall, this animation has way too many qualities to be considered as decent as a series. It lacks all the core basic elements of being a competent series. Wouldn’t recommend.

1/5.

This was suprising for a DBZ animation which also happens to be a series. Animation in this is decent overall but this suffers from problems like the fps dropping right down out of nowhere. There is also visuals that look odd like a face being shown on the side of someones face as well as inconsistency caused by images being used out of nowhere. Storywise it does the job of building up towards a plot but the story begin to not make sense as it goes on. The overall entertainment delivered in this is held back a lot by the by the very slow start and very long opening. Overall this ends up being and average animation. Way better than the other DBZ series and this has potential.
