mono yami (aka shiro kurobane) is a half angel half demon. he is the strongest mage in the whole of the DCA (demon countermeausers association) and in the whole world (their world at the time being heaven) he is second only to kami (god) himself and is the third member of the kuro gami squad. he is one of the three fragments of origin and is the son of ruby yami and aoi kurobane. his mother (aoi) is the angel known as blackbird and is the daughter of raven kurobane, shiro is called the crow.

his hair was originally black but he dyed it white since it reminded him of his demon father. He dyed it half black ecause he found out the truth and that his father was not the monster everyone had said he was. shiro has a total of six different wings and four main forms. he is the love interest of usagi hikari
