The Sword of Purity is an ancient weapon of Ancient Utopian design, created with the purpose of being particularly effective against Demons as it's blade is crafted with minute particles of solid light. Jake was not granted this blade by any mystical being, nor took it from a great and powerful foe but instead found it in one of the chambers of one of the Outskirts Utopian ruins, still in the hands of a long dead Ancient Utopian.

Jake uses this weapon for many things like collecting wood, cutting grass, slicing Node Spawn webs, hunting wild animals and many other things. while you'd think this would end up making the blade useless and cause it's blade to corrode and break; it does not due to powerful enchantments that prevent it's blade from being tainted.

It is speculated that the glowing gemstone on the hilt of this ancient sword is a prototype of sorts for the mystical Utopian items called 'Relics' that were intended to be used in a powerful weapon, also designed for defeating Demons.
