Story and humor are inapplicable for this series entry, so I will not critique them.
This is a simple fight animation as a tryout for a series, and it contains the signature quick pace style of Vamrack. The fighting is smooth, but one thing that struck me about it was that it wasn’t very unique or exciting. This is a basic 2D fight where people are just punching each other, with a couple kicks, and the use of a sword. Other animations do that as well, but they are more exciting because of the variety of ways in which punches are thrown and swords are swung. This just feels like the same couple of boxer punches every couple seconds, there isn’t too much variety to it. It does do it’s job of showing the skill of the animator, but it doesn’t do enough to cement the animation as unique. It’s decent to view for skill, but there are other enjoyable fights to watch as well.
A simple fight animation that is pretty entertaining. A little confusing sometimes with what is happening, but it’s pretty good. Not as much humor here. But that ending part was quite good. Now that smart stretch exists, those detailed figures are easier to work with for side punches and stuff like that. Really will be interesting to see what you might do with that.
