Story and humor are inapplicable to this trailer, so I won’t critique them.

This is a relatively decent trailer, though it has many aspects to improve upon. The lack of dynamic angles really doesn’t help add any tension to the scene, and animation movements, in general, could be touched up more. There needs to be a lot more work and pacing to this animation for sure. It doesn’t do much to show a trailer of anything save for a gunfight and some monster hands. For being a trailer, it doesn’t actually hint at anything. Viewers wouldn’t even know this had something to do with resistance in the first place if they didn’t say it in the title. The quality of the figures is decent, but the animation is overall very lacking. It would pass as a normal animation, but because it lacks so much as a trailer, it gets lower points.

Low 2/5.

This is something I thought originally failed to deliver what a trailer is supposed to deliver based on my memory. Reqatched it here in it is good. First the visuals do an amazing job of enforcing that grim feeling of Resistance and that warzone scenario. Theres some nice use of the camera to direct focus on certain details as the men move through the streets. The animation is quite average. It does the job but feels as if it were forged purely on add tweened frames. It lack force and impact as well as weight and intensity. This could all be enforced with camera shake, sharp sounds and so on. But I do love that use of the sirens that screams resistance to me at the start.
