New update time! Well, this actually happened over the weekend. I’ve just been too busy to make the update posts for it.
Version 1.2.9 of Stick Nodes has been uploaded to all Android markets. Nothing really major, as you can see from the changelog below.
- Added an add frame/delete frame button to the right of the timeline for easier access.
- Some fixes for errors relating to undo/redo.
- Other minor tweaks and fixes.
This version has also already been uploaded to the iOS App Store, so you guys will be skipping 1.2.8 and going right into 1.2.9 as soon as it’s approved (hopefully this week)!
That’s all for now! Go animate something!

Just tell Ralph to think about it will ya
Hey franklin. Again, I really do want to help you, but this is the only way you’re going to get the stickfigures you need.
You’re also not answering our questions and it makes it seem like you’re not following directions or even attempting to download the stickfigures the correct way.
Again, the instructions for downloading a stickfigure for Android devices is at the top of the https://sticknodes.com/stickfigures/ page.
Just download the stickfigure files you want, use a file-managing app (I personally use FX File Explorer or as Sean said, Androzip) to copy the stickfigure files from the /downloads/ folder to the /Stick Nodes/stickfigures/ folder. Then simply open the app and import the new stickfigures.
hey i was wondering if you could add the option of using sprites in the next update. in pivot i use sprites, from paint, to add dialog instead of using the pivot alphabet because that takes WAY too long. but i would appreciate that very much and honestly once thats done i think stick nodes wont really need that many big improvements. probably none at all.
Hey Stephen.
Yeah, sprites and text, very common requests, and I like them very much too. To be honest, the text has more of a chance to happen, but I wouldn’t expect these features too soon in the current version of Stick Nodes. It all just boils down to how I have the project currently structured out as well as the limits of mobile devices.
These are things I already have noted down for the fabled “Stick Nodes 2.0,” if it ever gets made…
