Yieldred was one half of the duo that managed all creation and destruction within the various realms.

According to the Marzopan people, the origin of all light was Yieldred as he was the original god of light and rebirth. His light could travel at speeds much greater than one would normally expect. This allowed it to stretch far and wide and bring life back to the empty void that was our existence.

However, Yieldred was betrayed by Miod, who sought only power. Yieldred was split into six different pieces and scattered across the galaxy.
