Isurus Maximus.
One of the many speculative species of deep sea lamniformes includes this ferocious cousin of the Shortfin Mako (Isurus Oxyrinchus). It has been said that this shark specializes in hunting Giant Squids, or large Cephalopods. Sightings for this rare yet large beast are scarce, with only dim sightings of Dorsal Fins at night.
This cousin of the Mako is much larger in comparison, just as big as the larger Great White Shark estimates (Carcharodon Carcharias). So far male specimens have only been found, so we can only imagine what the females are like. This deep sea apex being the cousin of the Mako Shark allows it to reach speeds of 40 mph.
