If you’re going to start doing those things then leave sticknodes we already have enough of those

Mate, listen to my advice.
Just cause you tripped up does not mean you’ve fallen into a pit, you’re merely wobbling on the edge of it. If you want to get back on land, you must redeem yourself, not by making scarf people but instead by either trying again but remembering to take precautions and properly edit the figure.
However, failure will lead you into that pit and it will be a struggle to reach back out of it.
I will forgive you this time.
Go out, make a new fig, tell the group about it, answer to requests and listen to criticism and then I believe you can create something truly wonderful.
