Epitaph is technically fully powered up all his life.
however, if he is to use extremely powerful attacks such as the unimaginably powerful ‘Ethereal Cataclysm’, it can drain his soul of magical essence and weaken him physically at times. if he were to abuse his ridiculous ammounts of magical power, he’d fall off conscious or witness a pain similar to a heart attack as his soul cracks.
this is why Epitaph uses simple attacks like summoning platforms, telekinesis and simply attacking with his Glaive so he does not overuse his magic and can wear down an opponent before completely annihilating them.

Chimdi usually is the first one to attack in a match. Fire in reality is not a durable element, and Chimdi can’t that, but he can still attack a dangerous level.
