Insert Jojo reference here. Also the Dragon Ball series for sure because that's what started it all. My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Dr. Stone too. Non-anime (kinda) however, the Avatar series (ATLA and Korra) too. |
| Favorite non-animated show |
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones. House gets an honorable mention. |
| Favorite movie |
Not much of a movie person, idk. I did force myself to watch the Marvel movies and they weren't bad to be honest so, yeah, Endgame I guess. |
| Favorite video game |
I don't play much of anything so in terms of nostalgia there's Tomba 1 and 2, Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter among others. The original Genesis Sonic games are up there too. |

Orange chicken but, like, not the authentic kind. More like the sugar-chicken version where it just rots your teeth away as you eat it. |
| Ralph started making Stick Nodes one day because he was bored. He grew up practically addicted to a stickfigure-animation program called Pivot which sparked his interest in both animation and game development.
Eventually he got into Flash animation and Flash game development. He released quite a few games into the Flash gaming community, check out his portfolio for links.
Once mobile devices started taking over, he moved over to attempt Android games. After a few failed attempts, he released Plunder Peril - a quick 2-3 week project that was meant as Android-development practice.
After Plunder Peril, Ralph began work on Stick Nodes and in August 2014, Stick Nodes was released on Android with the iOS version following in November. Stick Nodes is built in Java with the LibGDX framework and uses RoboVM to port to iOS.
Fast forward to March 2020 when he was revising this page and he honestly can't believe Stick Nodes is still going so strong. Onward to world domination...
Fast forward again to August 2023 and really, I haven't been cancelled yet? |

| Sean is the site administrator and creator of the stickfigure submission system as well as a majority of the DBZ stickfigures. He also has a funny accent.
At around age 12 he discovered Pivot, ended up on Droidz.org looking for stickfigures to use in his animations, got fairly good after about 2 years.
He decided to make a website to host his animations on after having been on the forums for a long time. That's what got him into webdesign since the first iteration of his website was a terrible looking flash-based thing that at the time he thought was the best thing out.
After a while he realized how stupid it looked and behaved. So he looked into HTML and CSS, got it looking slightly better but it wasn't until he found WordPress that it started looking decent.
After that he went off the grid for a bit, got his Cert IV in IT and Webdesign, cemented his understanding of the internet protocols.
Lately he's been helping out around the Stick Nodes community and has been managing Animation Alpha. He's also been looking into game development and has begun a project that he hopes to finish one day soon, he can't really reveal anything about it but it's for mobile devices and will be a 2D sidescroller. |

hello, this place is dead. wait. why am I here then?
this page used to be the lol-spam/community/random area
now it’s over here https://sticknodes.com/activity/
lol
How can i post a stick figure here
Ah, this place never changes
hi how do i change the language in stick nodes pro?
My quest for this lifeline is done, for now I shall ascend to the the place never told of, For I shall come back when I receive a new quest from the ancients, now I shall…
Ascend to the heavens!
Do not forget my leave of forever lasting, as think of it as a slumber! For I shall wake up when my time is needed!
Farewell for now, Other users!

PS: Australia is stupid
Ralph, I going to be honest with you. I’m getting sick of my Stickfigures being denied while you continually add ones that are using the base Stickfigure or have no originality. I put time and effort into my Stickfigure universe and the characters within it. I want to share this with others, but you keep denying my characters and everything else I submit. I only ask that you actually pay some attention to them.
How long ago was your last submission?
A little over a week ago.
Yeah, I uploaded my stuff about three weeks ago or maybe even a month
okay look, firstly there’s nothing from a week ago from you, last submission is April 27
and here’s what it was
now I mean this with all due respect, but since you’re calling me out I’m going to answer
this is just a basic stickfigure where you colored the legs/arms differently, added some triangles to the hands, etc
it’s nothing “special” – and I’m not trying to insult you at all, I get stickfigures like this every single day and if I uploaded all of them, the page would be oversaturated with basic/generic figures and would hide the more useful ones
you gotta just work at it yo, unless there are extraordinary circumstances, basic-looking figures like this either don’t get uploaded, or are put into a Mystery RHG Pack
Mystery the pack? You mean the hall of shame?
Rhg*
So you try to not oversaturate the site with stupid lazy figs. Yet you upload all the DBZ figs? What the F man?!
m8 I’m not banning DBZ figs outright because
1) dbz and stick nodes/pivot go together perfectly, go Youtube “stick nodes” and sort by time uploaded (recent), 90% of the page is DBZ
2) it’s not fair to people that put work into a new DBZ fig
3) I already don’t upload at least 80% of DBZ figs I get because they’re barely different from the ones online already (used them as a base, done better, etc)
sometimes 1 or 2 get by, it happens
4) I upload DBZ stuff by itself on it’s own day maybe once a week as to not be on the site all the time
WHAT MORE ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME
Ralph, I don’t mean to call you out with offense (the way you said it made me feel like I typed more angrily than I should have, especially since I was under the weather that day), but I must confess my eagerness to put my Stickfigures on the site.
1) These are my main characters for my StickVerse. I feel that it’s necessary to submit them first. I’ve been urged by the rest of the Pack (the other members of Night Wolf Studios) as well as Animation Creation to share all these characters. It seems that we all carry importance for this.
2) I’ve seen other submissions on the site that were built off of the base Stickfigure that’s built into StickNodes. It doesn’t seem right to accept those, but not these. Perhaps, there is something I don’t know about these submissions. I can’t say.
3) Relating to the #2 and previous comments, there are copies of the same character (especially with DBZ) all over the site. It seems unfair to deny Stickfigures with originality instead of the same stuff that comes up all the time. If you read the descriptions of my most recent submissions (which I sent yesterday or something like that), I created original origin stories and looks for each of them.
Those are my main concerns. Again, I mean no disrespect or offense of any kind. I just want to express my feelings towards the matter. Perhaps, the Shadow and Zoos Stickfigures and can be put in a pack together. Maybe that will keep them all grouped together and not clouding up a bunch of space. But that’s just a solution I thought might work. Again, I just want to get my thoughts out there.
sorry, I know these figures probably mean a lot to you, but not so much to others – at least without more to them
in this case a pack would help, because then I can justify uploading basic-looking stickfigures if there’s a bunch of them/some type of story associated with it, etc
but not just 1 or 2, this has been my personal rule for a long time now, I can’t just make exceptions or the site would be watered down with generic figures that took 5 mins to make
in the case of DBZ, look at the downloads of DBZ figs vs other figs – the whole point of the stickfigures page is to offer things people want to download
I’m not just singling you out, I have to make decisions every day what gets on the site and what doesn’t and I’m fair to everyone (mainly because I don’t know who submitted the stickfigure when I’m deciding to approve it or not)
Hold on, I’m forgetting… Those were the only two you got. ??♂️
Now that you say that, I see why you wouldn’t put them in a pack. There must have been some issue with the email, because I sent five versions. Weird. I suppose the question is, would five be adequate for a pack?
Even then, there’s another character I tried to submit (you probably didn’t receive him). He had three versions, which I’m also not sure would be enough for a pack. Perhaps both Shadow and Zoos (the previously mentioned character) should be in a pack together. Of course, I don’t run the site, so I don’t know what is required of these types of packs. I just offered this idea as a means of satisfying both sides, but ultimately, you’re the one to judge what to do with it.
I still don’t get why there were missing characters… :/
I agree with my buddy here. There are unoriginal DBZ and stupid default figures that get uploaded and don’t deserve it, where as original, creative figures, such as my buddy’s, get denied. I mean, who I gonna use a default figure with an infinity gauntlet? There aren’t literally default zombies, default cyborgs, default demons, and other defaults that have no originality at all, yet they get uploaded. I mean, what the heck? And the DBZ figs. There are way too many of them on the site. You should pay more attention to the original figs, and less to the unoriginal. I don’t mean to be rude Ralph, but come on! Just hear us out.
~Animation Creation
Wait, you ctually put work into your figures? I had no idea
Yeah, you see them sick gradients? Back in my day, To make a gradient, you had to use uo the full 10 node limit.
“back in my day”
That just sounds ridiculous.
So does “I hit My dog with a brick and it won’t move” yet that happened YOU LOWLIFE SCUM
What the hell…
No we don’t haven pepsi, is coke ok?
Think of it as: the work goes more into the character itself.

Well, I can’t use stick nodes pro, cause stupid Apple won’t accept my credit card, and I had make a new Apple ID so rip old sticknodes pro. I’ve pretty much given up on stick nodes but I kinda miss this place so I’m just gonna try to be active here
Typed my email wrong, oops
Alex
Thanks for that comment
Np
old stick nodes pro?
but you said apple didn’t accept your credit card
so
SOMETHING DOESN’T ADD UP HERE
I purchased sticknodes pro when the credit card did work. Because of some billing issue, Apple wouldn’t let me download or install any apps, so I made a new Apple ID. That Apple ID can download and install apps but it still won’t accept the credit card, it probably blocked it or sum stuffs.
send me an email [email protected] and just say “yo whatup” or whatever
Now, where’s Berke? I remember him being the best part about this website, with his mildly, yet comedic broken English.
he still pops in sometimes https://sticknodes.com/members/berke381/
I’m fairly certain that I asked about my issue on here, a while ago, actually
can you please add pivot 4 features like parts based of sprites?
sorry
I traded sounds and camera and tweening for sprites :/
I’m kidding
maybe some day but not soon >_>
Dear Ralph,
Is there any chance you could add a feature where to people can animate on the same project at the same time?
Sincerely,
DG
P.S
When is
2.3.7?
Two*
yes that’s been suggested a few times, I even thought of it myself a while back
it’s a very interesting idea but the amount of work required is basically equivalent to starting a whole new app, so…
maybe some day
