2 SNPD officers, a Seargeant and a Private responded to a supposed 10-44, when they arrived they were under heavy fire by multiple men armed with AKMs and one RPK the SNPD Sergeant called in “10-13, Shots Fired Shots Fired!, multiple 10-60 requesting backup!” SNPD SWAT arrived minutes after the radio transmission by the Sergeant. Only the private of the first responders was injured, and the rioters quickly retreated after losing 2 people.
