Wannabe Outlaw bitches about Godless for 10 mins, let's GOOOO!!!!!!!!!

So, As you all know (probably), Godless is one of my favorite Westerns forever and ever, the scenography and setbuilding bring an awesome grittyness and overall dry feeling, very reminiscent of early 2010’s Westerns, where Hollywood got this sudden idea of the Wild West being the worst time period to live in.
however, it still maintains some of the classical spaghetti western cheese, like the multiple shootouts, or the town defense at the last episode.

however, i’ve wanted to nitpick a pair of scenes that have especially bothered me ever since my first watch, and they are as follows.

    The Blackdom Massacre

The thing that bothers me about this scene, is how comically downplayed the town gets.
in past episodes we’ve seen how the residents of Blackdom are mostly Buffalo soldiers, which we’ve alson gotten described as “the best of the best”
taking down entire Apache ambushes with only a single man.
however, when we see Griffin arrive to the town, the soldiers suddently turn into helpless victims, who only manage to take down 4 outlaws before they all get gunned down.
Frank Griffin, and at most 6 armed outlaws, manage to take down an entire batallion of Biffalo soldiers, it’s incredibly stupid, especially considering how they all suddenly turn into stormtroopers, and barely hit anything, it’s nonsense.

    Whittey Whin's Death.
This one is especially infuriating for me, because from the first moment we see him, it’s established that he’s young and cocky, yet hes still a good shoot and a fast draw.

Howhever, in the end he gets killed by a random outlaw?
oh sure, a trained deputy dies to a knife in the chest, yet a bunch of random women who didnt even know how to load a gun 10 minutes ago get hit 5 times by a 45. and they live with minor wounds, bullshit.

    TLDR: Godless is cool, Buuuuuuuut.
