Gregory & Gron Motor Truck MT-78 Oscar I
It is a standard logistics transport truck used by the Imperial Army of Änlich. Used by the country’s army, air force, and navy. It was built by Gregory Manufacture Industries and Gron Motor Engineering Industries, with the participation of other companies such as Orikalke Machines Industries and Woonderlands Manufacture.
The vehicle has a 6-cylinder, 120-horsepower Gron MT-1912 engine, giving it a speed of 78 km/h on roads and 47 km/h on rough terrain, and weighs 5,78 tons. The vehicle has the capacity to carry up to 10 tons of cargo, although this is strongly discouraged due to the fragile chassis and suspension assembly, which makes carrying heavy loads impractical.
The standard load limit is a maximum of 7 tons for equipment, and in some tests and experiments, the 13-ton A-7 Targil tanks were seen being loaded, however, the truck suspensions They had to be completely replaced along with part of the chassis.
# Function. #
The MT-78 Oscar I is often used outside enemy lines, providing logistical support and strategic towing of heavy artillery across the battlefield. Although its most common use is to transport troops, it can hold up to 12 soldiers inside. The vehicle is limited to the rear, since, with its open chassis, it offers the soldiers no protection against artillery or explosions. This being one of its most critical weaknesses. However, due to its immense versatility, it gave him a huge boost in his career at Arsenal de Änlich.
The vehicle doesn’t only have this configuration. It also has several other versions, the details of which will be discussed here on the website. For example, the Navy and Air Force variants. And the cutting-edge air defense variant.
