So one of Stick Node’s best stickfigure creators, PartyMaster86, has been busy. Check out all of the cool Alien/Predator stickfigures he’s submitted recently!
I’m personally a big fan of his Predator stickfigure. I can easily see it being a fan-favorite.
In other news, Stick Nodes was reviewed on AppPicker.com today, so a big shout out to them! Always appreciate any publicity I can get for Stick Nodes!
Also, don’t forget to check out AnimationAlpha.com for some serious animation inspiration. My buddy Sean posts there daily! You can also submit your own Stick Nodes creations for others to view and comment on!
You know, this post some-how has the same ‘epic’ vibe as the last one.. I wonder what the common denominator is…
But that’s pretty awesome, yeah he sure has been busy.. not like me, I really should make another DBZ character or something..
And congrats on the review you got there, I read it all, they gave it a nice review there, not even one ‘con’, well done!
Nah, please, you’ve done more than enough with the DBZ characters you’ve created. You’re pretty much out of characters to create, anyway.
And yeah, hope it brings in some hits, looks like a really quality site. The write-up, however, is really just a re-hash of the email I sent them pitching the app. No complaints of course, but it’s easily noticeable.
Not gonna complain about the no cons thing, though 😀
Yeah most review sites that you request from usually don’t stray too far from the original pitch.
But as you said, no complaints, it’s got all the information in there that they need.
And definitely, it’s great, most review places would just find one or two *little* things just to through in there, but clearly he couldn’t find any it seems.
Pfft, I could find ten cons in a heartbeat.
Lmao, of course you could, but you know all of your mistakes first-hand.
Anyway, take the compliment dammit!
thank you for adding the option of using backgrounds! when can we see the use of adding sprites? 😀
Background-update will be out soon (at least for Android, iOS will take an extra week or more due to review time).
Sprites, however, that’s not on the immediate to-do list at the moment. Hopefully in the future though!
When are you able to make a desktop version? And is it difficult to create the one? Also will stick nodes user have to pay for a desktop version?
It’s tough to say since it’s really not on my planned to-do list at the moment.
I’d absolutely love for a desktop version, but to the tell the truth, I’d want to build a “new” version of the app for it, a 2.0 if you will.
Really would love to make it, maybe some time soon!
Maybe tomorrow you say? Excellent, I’ll notify the press!
Thanks Ralph, you sure are a champ!
Lmao, I’m really curious now. Have you even seen I Am Legend?
Lol, yes. This movie I have indeed seen.
Wow, so we know that you’ve seen at least 3 movies in your entire life.
Truth.
I’m honored to make sticks for stick nodes
I always wanted to have a game like pivot or even better but now I know wat u guys are capable of its even better than pivot I think
Thanks PartyMaster, really appreciate the kind words and I look forward to more of your creative stickfigures!
Also can I just mention how much I love your name?
if you could also include in the 1.4 update the ability to organize/ delete stick figures on the ios version that would be great
Hey Stephen.
Well, there’s really no way to do that due to how Apple restricts file management on their devices.
If you didn’t know, you can very easily manage your stickfigure/project files and exports by using iTunes, navigating to the “Apps” tab, and scrolling down to find “Stick Nodes” in the “File Sharing” section. From there you can save/delete any Stick Nodes files.
ok thank you! all you need to do is add the option of text or sprites and i think stick nodes would be complete! haha
