What Iโve found throughout my time here is that because a lot of Stick Nodesโ content is similar in nature it can be hard to remember each cool detail about the site that day, week, month or year. Some things are retained by memory no doubt but this just serves as a nice information bank to check back on for data purposes, nostalgia and because it can also serve as a sort of mini-news output daily ( Most of the time ).

Contributors – These guys are the ones who make the magic happen, posting the site logs we see daily, usually we can work around a rotation so some days myself ( Lemon ) can post some log entries, then Kingstar, Teo, InfiniteGuess etc. weโll keep everyone posted and hopefully we can retain the consistency of the entries throughout the year.
If youโd like to have a shot at contributing just ask away, weโll dedicate a day and see how you fare, you do a good job a few times and you can score a placement under Mods for โ Contributor โ.

Our beloved moderator Squi has been a part of the stick nodes community for six whole years now! Impressive considering the events that have transpired. Pretty good, not bad indeed.
You covered the grounds for 90% of todayโs post, included images and added a bit of pzazz to it too.
Iโd only say you missed the post about the Sprite update where Squi discusses about being able to play Chess and whatnot but I understand it was either missed or forgotten so no worries, just make sure to document stuff like that if not already.

Well last week had the slow loading times, didn’t it? And I think he got off before the loading time was fixed as he made a post saying “i dont think ill be able to do it due to the slow loading times” or something like that, so I don’t think he is entirely responsible for missing that one if he went to sleep or something before the slow loading times were fixed.

8th March – Wednesday
Site is Now Https, Beta Testing Officially Confirmed to Be Taking PlaceToday is a big day for both the app AND the site, as not only is the site HTTPS making it secure and up to date (thanks Mike), but beta testing is now taking place for the sprite update! So hopefully this means that the release date would be soon, as a somewhat working build is out for the beta testers and the percentage is at 93.
Although, this isn’t all good news as there was a temporary fonts issue that came with the chnage to HTTPS, although the issue was resolved quickly.
Banned user confirmed to have return, although leaves on his own accord-?This is a weird one. So a while ago a user named “Animator-the-random-one” was banned for being annoying. However, he returned with another account called “Animator-the-banned-one” (don’t know why he thought people wouldn’t catch on) and he made a post that compared his ban to a fictional event that happened in a video game. It was deleted due to some people catching on (even though it was obvious). Than later, user Scarlett called him out on being the banned user. He tried to deflect the claim with a lousy excuse, however Gigan pinged Ralph to have him banned. But, it was confirmed that Ralph already knew and he said he was giving him another chance. However by this point Animator knew the jig was up and left on his own accord, despite being given a pardon by Ralph, and him actually requesting for people to leave Animator alone.
This was the second ban he invaded so far though, so I don’t see him getting any more chances.

Some final words of the day
Wow today was a rollercoaster! I actually started to feel sick going through all these tabs, plucking all the info out, and trying to remeber everything major that happened. A little bit of drama that kept some of us engaged while causing no real harm, Site changes (for the better), app progress, a community that is growing and developing (referring to Masterstrike’s account age reaching over 1,500). Today was the ideal Sticknodes day.

To say the least I wanted to be able to promote the idea that users can leave their mark on a long-standing project for Stick Nodes, itโs own canonical universe has lots of potential and I donโt intend to waste it. Thereโs not much else to say without kissing my own behind so Iโd just say go check out the post on making a location.
On another note the site has been running fairly smoothly since the fix and many, myself included is taking a liking to it, today has been routine so this is why this log entry is very linear and routine with one headline and not much more.

Thus we finally reach the end of the month and mark on a new state of time for us to endure, that being March of course. February proved to be quite an experience, Valentineโs Day was itโs own thing what with IG and Demonbot, The site suffering from poor speeds, clone accounts being made etc. all in all a pretty solid month.
What we will see this month is yet to be known but from what weโve already logged what with a new admin and site speeds getting fixed we could very well see the most bold month so far, then again we mightโve expended all the extravagancy across the span of just a week..
