Welcome, I’ll do random things here, updates, series, remakes, etc. Not much to say, it’s pretty simple.

Color Touch-Ups…?Now usually I make Max’s weapons consistently the same color, but I’m starting to reconsider. I want your opinions, if I should make the blue part of his weapons different colors. One could be orange, one purple, one red, etc. Having his weapons all the same color scheme can be a nice little way of showing that me makes all of his weapons, but having them different colors is makes them unique and less…bland.

Weapons that will NOT be affected:
– Pencil
– Buncho Bag
– Luna’s Longsword -
The trident might be nice yellow.
I voted different, but they would look nice either way

I was going to make it red, but you know…yellow sounds better

I also thought of red, but I liked the idea of yellow better so I suggested that
You may be able to make the light blue parts of the gun look nice in red, but I don’t know

Minotaur V2A much needed touch-up to Max’s semi-auto gun, the Minotaur. Before, this used the channel Max’s Arc into a beam, now it’s a bit more complicated. Max needs to charge a liquid that reacts very violently to Arc. The Arc bonds with the water molecules and heats it up immensely After this, the gun can shoot a very concentrated, small, “bullet” of this liquid. Assuming Max can pull off that accuracy, it can burn right threw a standard bullet without losing inertia. In an emergency, Max can also use rainwater as a substitute for the ‘ammo’.

Residents of Glimmer, Max’s Town IIhttps://sticknodes.com/groups/legends-of-grodot/
Click on it, do it, now.
I was supposed to do all three of these in the same day I did Lyon’s but sidbnwiswbwkdh, you know? Anyway, every good Grodot town needs certain people, like a Shaman. Kara Cloud is Glimmer’s shaman, and most of her job is healing others and imbuing weapons with her purple Soul Arc.
Wielders of Crystal Type: Soul can call upon the residual energy given off by spirits and plants alike, and channels it into various magic or weapons. For example, Kara’s weapons are made purely out of Soul Arc (second picture). They can also imbue physical objects, giving them qualities like increased durability or even magic that releases upon use of the weapon (Like Minecraft’s “Fire Aspect”). Most Shamans have Soul Arc, bonding them to their job for the rest of their lives.
Nick is also Kara’s adopted son, and she taught him everything she knows about general combat. Most residents of Glimmer would declare with confidence that Kara is single-handedly the best fighter in all of Grodot, and it shows. While she doesn’t head into battle often, she walks out of every fight unscathed when she does.

I made a private group for the series if anyone is interested in behind-the-scenes dumbfuckery: https://sticknodes.com/groups/legends-of-grodot/
Anyway, I realized when looking at Heroforge models that the colors I use for Lunite in SN aren’t shiny and don’t look that convincing as far as metal goes. I think I made it too green, but let me know what you think of it so far (New on right)
Also, Legends of Grodot logo go brr

Residents of Glimmer, Max’s Town II’m being productive today, wow.
First one for today is Max’s mentor and the only Rank V blacksmith still alive, Lyon Forge (pronounced Lion, like the animal yes). Lyon was a failed experiment; all that’s known is that Machinists were trying to secretly create a life-form capable of perfectly harmonizing with Arc to the point that they didn’t need the physical aspect of using Arc, the crystal itself. Due to the experiment’s failure, Lyon has no means of using a Crystal as they won’t bond with him and remain pure, waiting for another host.
Despite not being able to use Arc, Lyon is capable of incredible feats of strength and strategy, with a particular specialty in determining weak spots of both enemies and buildings. He prefers his trademark double hammers as a weapon, pulled straight from his forge. He’s also been known to throw anvils at people that he keeps tied on his back for a surprise attack.
As far as his personality goes, he is incredibly quiet and keeps to himself. If you do talk to him, however, he is incredibly blunt and straightforward. To him, lies and run-arounds are just a waste of time and he’s not afraid to show it. Most of the day you can find him in his forge, as he has an insatiable desire to constantly churn out weapons, armor, and work on a mysterious project called “Iron Legion”.

Farming SwordBecause of the abundance of plants and other natural growths in Grodot, special tools were made to cut and tend to them. The Farming Sword, like it’s name suggests, is commonly used by farmers to trim plants, grass, weeds, etc. Explorers have also been found using this to cut unkempt vines and bushes in their path, though not very often.
Classic Max, making a weapon from probably anything. He saw this tool and decided to make a version for himself, modified with Lunite to withstand more wear and use. Because of the sword’s length, it can cleave plants and enemies alike in a couple swift and graceful strikes. Max of course doesn’t mind the weight and heft of it, because the momentum of his attacks can use the heaviness to his advantage.

No way, CB making music?!
Took a while, but I made The Scorn’s theme. This song or variants of it will play whenever they’re on screen.

Pros and Cons
After experimenting for a bit, I’ve come up with this list:Pros
– More outfits
– More species
– Less anatomically odd
– More weapons, and better organization of them
– Cool preset outfits and themesCons
– Less preset poses (Must do so manually)
– NO PAINTS?!?!?!?!
– Slower (Mostly on computers)
– No Search bar (must find things manually)
– Odd face-changing optionsWelp, that’s about it. Seeing as how the pros and cons are both at 5, I’ll let all of you decide which is better. I’m a bit bugged by the no-paint thing, though.

I’ve used Eldritch Foundry before, and to say the least, It’s worse then Hero forge in my opinion, of course both do have their pros and cons, however I would say that since you actually cannot color your figurine whatsoever, and not add decals I say that’s a deal breaker, and it’s slower on computers and that’s what mostly everyone uses.
Of course they do have an armored Tarantula and one of those look-alike things from Jurassic park, It’s still no deal. Plus Hero forge keeps updating theirs and has a lot more options then Eldritch Foundry does, including Raptors and so forth, plus you have to manually do poses and that’s something not everyone likes to do, of course.
Eldritch Foundry does have its magic and that’s where it passes Hero forge in, they have lots more magically related items then Hero forge, but Hero forge has more modern items. Eldritch Foundry does have a DNA thing, which makes it unique to only Eldritch, however Hero forge makes up for that by adding lots more things.
Hero forge also does Treasure Tuesday’s where they add something new every Tuesday, Eldritch Foundry doesn’t have that, and only does something like that every one in a while, which sucks. Hero Forge is also planning to have Kitbashing in the future which is going to be really amazing, anyways, that’s all from me.
Also I found Eldritch Foundry First L + Bozo + Copycat + You Fell Off + I win
