Welcome, I’ll do random things here, updates, series, remakes, etc. Not much to say, it’s pretty simple.

Grodot’s most popular sport and custom is combat-based and extremely similar to that of a Gladiator Arena. This is not only a great honor, but a very effective method of training and sharpening their skills.
Max, being Max, denies a helmet and leg armor, but ops for thick leather on the arm wielding a gold trident, which he later steals and repurposes to make his Lunite one, Triple Threat.

That gun reminds me of something you might see out of pixel gun 3d.
Pretty cool, could use some blue colours around and maybe some extra gun gear like sights etc. just something to make it look ‘gunier’. Still really good though, just thought I’d throw out some potential design ideas.

Replying to:
It has sights 😩

I wanted to make it look like a gun more but something about the almost impractical rectangle stood out to me

Replying to:
True true, I meant it as an expression / example though

Felt bad that @kingstarsalt doesn’t celebrate Christmas, so here’s an early gift
I’ll let you decide if you want your remake to be posted as a figure on-site, or privately emailed to you.

Nick Bassius: Musical MasterMax’s closest friend, and weaver of sounds, Nick Bassius lived most of his life without vision. when he was around 8, a terrible sickness plagued him, and while he recovered, his eyes did not. After gaining an acute sense of hearing now that it was his focus, he developed a burning passion for music, and began to tinker and poke around to see what he could do. Turns out, Nick had a hidden talent for this, and it made him a living.
When he and Max where 17, things changed for the better. Learning from Max, Nick made a compact baton that, when opened in certain ways, formed instruments. He and Max went from place to place, they were the perfect duo! Nick’s heavenly music paired with Max’s violent and strong singing, they passed the time making and performing music when they weren’t taking down foes.
After seeing Max obtain a shard of the crystal, he grew fascinated with how it worked, and what it could do. Not long after Max’s, Nick set out to grab a shard from himself. It went smoothly, with him passing The Test to quickly learning of his new power. Whenever Nick played his music in perfect tempo, timing, and pitch, a barely visible current of crimson Arc shot out in front of him a various slices and shapes. Nick is more of a long-ranged fighter, harnessing the power of his instruments to shred the battlefield with beautiful music.
While still a Grodotnite, you can notice that he dresses like a human. You see, Nick is obsessed with Earth; their music, clothing, all replicated by him.
For some clarity I also included a small description of Max and Nick’s marks, which symbolize their personality and soul.
But no one really reads these

Great stuff
-
wait
if he’s been blind since he was 8 why does he love earth clothing so much, developing a fashion style around it
-
Replying to:
Hmm, a plot hole indeed
I guess he could have seen it when he was younger, or maybe developed a mental image through touch
