I’ve changed Max’s abilities a bit, align with some small design changes.

Royal Blood
Max is the Prince’s son, grandson of the king. Because of this, he is considered royalty under the king. Royalty, along with near or distant relatives can all use the energy of the moon to their aid. These who have these powers are called Startouched, and have three faint marks under their left eye. As seen in the pic, Max is Startouched.

Those who are considered Startouched can use energy-based abilites, have superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes, and can power through pain with no external reaction (they still feel it though). This energy is the essence of the Moonlight, coming from the 3 remaining moons. It appears a pale teal color when you see it. There is one catch, however. They can only use these abilities if:

1. They are under direct Moonlight
2. They aren’t in Sun (artificial light and darkness don’t count)

When these powers are active, their eyes glow a pale blue, along with the marks. When not able to, they still retain the superhuman attributes and can’t use the moon’s energy. Only one has been known to use this power under full sunlight, and that is the King’s grandfather. He was able to harness enough energy in the night to use it through the day, storing it in his body.

These Startouched Grodotians have a glowing blue blood, due to the Lunos in their veins. Normal Grodotians have purple blood, with less Lunos running through it. If the fruit itself from the plant is eaten, it will kill most Grodotians. The essence inside the fruit is a thick, extremely sweet substance, behaving almost like nacho cheese or something of that consistency. Only Startouched ones can consume this without dying, but it takes over their body completely. They temporarily lost all personality, memory, and emotion, increase greatly in strength, and gain the ability to fly (think LSSJ Broly). In this form, their hair is the same pale blue as their eyes, and their veins are glowing visible through their skin, due to the energy they hold.

So a couple things I wanted to talk about regarding The Legend of Grodot, or TLOG. Stupid Acronym…

Robot(nik)
So as someone who wants to take a career in, like, any field of Engineering, I spent quite some time debating how I convey technology in my series. One option was as you’d expect, going for a more realistic and at least half accurate portrayal, which was what you can see from A.R.E.S and SSC Odyssey 278. I took into account how fast ARES would need to move to be considered lethal enough in that he surpassed any human, and gave him little armor, more lightweight but at the cost of vulnerability. There was more, but I won’t bore you with the details.

The other option I had was sort of like Sonic. Dr. Eggman’s tech is so advanced, yet looks simple, cartoony, all that good stuff. I really liked how that looks, despite the thoughts in the far back of my head like “this looks so unrealistic” and such. But looking back, that same style is what gave me so many good memories.

So, Due to node limit and, well preference, I’m going with a more simpler approach. One of the reasons I was planning to re-do ARES, but I have to anyway because of the style change.

Speaking of Style
I thought a little while back it would be cool do add some personal flare to my animation, and it is a bit similar to how colors change in a dramatic scene in JJBA. Along with the basics, a strong attack will be highlighted by everything changing the hue, only for a couple seconds, not like JoJo where it’s for the whole scene. If they get hit multiple times in rapid succession, the hue will shift over and over. Just wanted to talk about it, idk.

Your Stickerfigure is complete

Well folks…it’s done.

300 days. Just 65 more to go for UC Voter, eh? Anyway…with this I present the 6th Edition of Max! Goddamn I really needed 6 versions to get good ._.

Switching his HyperBlade for a katana was a hard debate, but in the end the results are well…obvious. Due to his wind abilities, he can not only move at incredible speeds with it, but make some deadly combos and attacks as well. This has been enchanted to form at will, so it’s usually not visible until it’s embedded in your collarbone.

Also, shout out to IG and others who inspired some minor outfit changes. It’s but a short ride so far, but it felt like an eternity. I look forward to so much more with y’all, as annoying as can be some times lmfao.

Here’s Max as a sticker. Due to it being…er…a sticker…he can’t move, but he’s just standing there, menacingly!
