So for spooky month, I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do, until I did of course.
Because Grodot is a very plant-abundant planet, I’m going to make a The Last of Us-styled version of Max, where his dumbass ate some weird glowing mushrooms and it took over his body. I also might do versions for Ash and Nick, with their respective colors.

as long as you understand what it does (finding the midpoint of every node’s values between 2 frames), it’s pretty easy to use and saves a lot of time

Oh BoyI really donβt feel like making another Max figure, and all of the other characters with it. However, animating themβand doing it smoothly/efficientlyβis a pain in the ass. Especially after making that last video and remembering just how nice it felt to animate with basic sticks. So for fight scenes and fight scenes only, Iβve decided to make stickfigure versions, prioritizing the ability to pose it from any angle so that he can do things like a spin kick, face the viewer, etc.

Iβm going to gradually move from using 20 frames per second to 24. My entire muscle memory is messed up nowβ¦

The CataclysmFor a little while now, I wanted to give Max a big-ass hammer. But, as is the case with most of his weapons, it needed a twist, something unique. So I made it shoot bombs, because why the hell not.
The Cataclysm can intake debris and rocks that get shoved into the side when he slams it into the ground. After charging the hammer with his Arc, he can launch it out of the other side, using his explosive Arc to hold the rocks together and create a throwable Cataclysmic Grenade that works similar to a frag.
And of course itβs still a hammer, so if he doesnβt want to blow shit up he can just bonk people with it.

I found an explosion sound online (idk if itβs from anywhere if it is let me know please) and added some bass drop and metal click sound to make it sound like someone set off a bomb.
