This is a competition that tests the weapon-making skills of the SN Community.
Description
Users will be given a weapon to create, and they will have 10 days to make it. There will most likely be a total of 5 weapons this year. Our judges (Biscuit, Warlock, and InfiniteGuess) will base their scores on:
– Accuracy to Weapon / 10
– Weapon’s Functionality / 10
– Design and Style Points / 10
Rules
Next are the rules that must be followed while making the weapons and in the group as a whole.
1. Please make the weapon that was listed, not whatever you decide is right. Doing so will drop your weapon’s score to 0.
2. Lack of completion before the week results in no points.
3. One stick-figure per weapon. Accessories like sheaths are excluded from this and can be made separate.
4. Only stickfigures! This is not a test of one’s drawing or art skills, this is a test of their figure-making skills. Sprites will NOT be allowed, sorry.

My submission for this week, thankfully had the chance to finish it despite how hectic everything has been. This is Eldingartennur.
“At the summit of Galdhøpiggen, lies a blade, buried deep under the glacial ice and rock. Forged by unknown forces in ages past. Its serrated edges glimmer with a blue sharpness, whispers of frost and lightning seep from its every inch.
A strange inscription radiates from the hilt of the blade, as if a soul breathes from it. A cold, foreign breath, one of unbridled violence and brutality. It beckons for a wielder, someone to devour with false promises of power. What place does a weapon that could slay gods have in a world of men? What evil force imbues this blade with such hatred and spite?”

Oracle’s Blade
The remaining weapon of a fallen tyrant of the past. The legend was called “The Oracle.” A being of incredible power, who took over 1/8th of the the magic lands. How he fell was unknown, but whatever it was demolished his entire empire, leaving only a small few of followers who were sentenced to death.
The blade is described as a short bladed sword, with a leather stitched hilt and a gem of power at the hilt end. The gem reacts to the emotions of the welder. Depending on how they feel, the gem can shoot projectiles or the blade will do different effects. The main color is Red, being a symbol for rage, shooting plasma based projectiles, and making the blade catches fire. If you know Magic well enough, the ability can be enhanced, depending on your Magic preference.

The Yulong Feng Dao
I forgot to add the translation on the thumbnail, but it means ‘Jade Dragon Wind’. In inaccurate American Chinese, of course.
Used the theme of the Yulong Wei Guandao for this one, since I see a disturbing lack of Chinese weapons in this competition. It kind of borders on the realm of a shortsword and just ‘sword’, but as it is one-handed and aligns with the common lengths of, say, a cutlass, I thought it would be fine.
I really need to finish judging entries, so maybe this will force me to.

Unlike previous weapons that had extreme damage and carnage in mind, this weapon is made to appeal to those who prefer a more defensive, less kill-y weapon. The sword is designed to conduct metal, with enough energy to knock someone out when transferred via force. It also doubles as a way to disarm someone. If they decide to stab you, make sure that the weapon goes through the middle of the blade, and twist. It’s adequate as an actual sword, but still, mostly shines in it’s merciful intention.

Anyway, this week’s weapon is any kind of shortsword. This is a type of sword with a blade length that is shorter than that of a longsword and longer than a dagger. The exact length of a short sword can vary, but it is typically between one and two feet in length.
This includes a Gladius, Wakizashi, Xiphos, Falcata, Cutlass, and more.
